About Ghati Subramanya Temple
This Temple is also famous with the name of its Ghati Subramanya Kannada located in Doddaballapura approximately 60 km from Garden City Bangalore, the Capital of Karnataka. So this temple is purely dedicated to the Lord Karthikeya and Subramanya is considered as lord of Snakes. Every day thousands of devotees visit this temple to perform Pooja, Aarti, and Sevas. Ghati Subramanya Temple Pooja Details
In the Ghati Subramanta Temple, there are various types of pooja performing in the temple. The most prominent poojas of the temple like Kuja Dosha, Naga Pratistha, and Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Homa perform in the temple. Known for Naga Kshetra, the Ghati Subramanya temple is a Sarpa Dosha Parihara Sthala. Sarpa Dosha devotees come to this temple to perform Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Homa, Special Poojas, and NagaPrathista (Installing the Idols of Snake).
Couples without children can come to this temple and perform Naga Prathamista to fulfill their wishes. It is said to be lucky to offer or pour milk on the Naga idols positioned beneath the banyan trees. Near the temple complex are thousands of these planted idols.
