Seethe Lava Kusha temple is located in Kerala in the Pulpally village and is dedicated to the twin sons of Goddess Seeta “Lava and Kusha”. Let us tell you that Seetha Lava Kusha Temple is 40 km from Wayanad, 32 km from Kalpetta, and 25km from Sulthan Bathery. Shri Pazhassiraja manages all the things of this temple for devotees. This is the most important location for Hindus. In the Ramayana, Lava, and Kusha are mentioned as sons of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Another interesting feature of the temple is the presence of termite mounds. It is believed that Mata Goddess Sita cursed the leeches that bit Kusha and Lava. The original name of the place is Sisumala where Lava and Kusha grew up. The main deity of the Pulpalli temple is Sita Devi. It is proved by religious scripture that Mata Sita spent their time during her exile at Valmiki Ashrama. Sasikala is a sacred place and it is connected to Lava Kusha.
