The Baidyanath Dham Temple of Jharkhand is the loving center for lord Shiva and is visited by millions of people every year across the World. This world’s famous pilgrims is situated in the district headquarters of Deoghar in the state of Jharkhand. It is ranked fifth among the twelve revered Jyotirlingas. Baba Baidyanath Dham temple was founded in the 8th century AD, during the rule of the last king of the Gupta dynasty, Adityasena Gupta. The Temple faces east. It is a plain stone structure with a pyramidal tower style with 72 feet high. Above it are three well-shaped gold vessels, as well as a Panchashula (five knives in the shape of a trident). At the temple, there is also a lotus with eight petals which is called Chandrakanta Mani.
